KUCTT Leads ATA Initiative

ATA's Telemental Health special interest group (SIG), under direction of an Executive Committee that includes Dr. Eve-Lynn Nelson, Assistant Director for Research at the KU Center for Telemedicine, won ATA's 2008 "Best SIG"
award at this year's annual meeting. The Telemental Health SIG's mission is to promote dialogue between mental health practitioners, and to improve the understanding and use of telehealth applications in the delivery of mental health services.

Dr. Nelson also is Chairperson of SIG Membership Services, and serves as Co-Chairperson of the Telemental Health Guidelines and Development project.
