Dr. Haller is currently Clinical Associate Professor at the
University of Kansas School of Medicine and Chief, Surgical Service
for VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System. he received the MD
degree in 1980 from the University of Kansas, School of Medicine
and completed the General Surgery residency at KU Medical Center
in 1985. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery
and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He is the Clerkship Director for Surgery at the Kansas City
campus of the School of Medicine. His clinical interests include
peripheral vascular surgery and abdominal surgery. His teaching
interests include the development of sound basic/fundamental
skills at all levels of surgical training. His administrative
interests include efficient and effective delivery of health
care to veterans of the armed forces of the United States of
America.
