Who we are:
In 2002 several first year medical students formed the University of Kansas Medical Center International Outreach organization in response to our shared interest in international health.

Our Mission:
We, the students, alumni and faculty of KUMC, are committed to offering health care to the citizens of the world, without regard to race, color, creed, gender or sexual orientation.  In our efforts to do hands-on good in the world, we will strive to learn from other cultures, educate underprivileged citizens of the world, and help sustain a standard of health care in targeted regions.  This will be a solely humanitarian organization with no religious or political affiliations.

Where we get our funding
Our funding is derived from KUMC student organization funds, donations from private individuals and revenue generated through fundraising events. Our thanks go out to our previous sponsors/donors
