Jeanne Schott has been instructing students at the University of Kansas School of Nursing for over 30 years. Schott has served on numerous School of Nursing and KU Medical Center committees. She was the elected chairman of the school’s Faculty Assembly twice and currently is the chairman of the Undergraduate Advisory Council. Schott was Department Chairman of Pediatric Nursing for eight years and on two occasions, she served as Acting Assistant Dean and Director of Undergraduate Programs.
After graduating from the College of St. Teresa in Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Schott held staff nurse and head nurse positions. She pursued a master’s degree and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study at Boston University. Schott has completed more than 70 hours of graduate coursework in the School of Education at the University of Kansas.
