Christina J. Phillips, RN, MS, ARNP, is a clinical instructor at the KU School of Nursing where she teaches Foundations, Nursing of Adults and graduate Physical Assessment. Phillips has worked as a staff nurse on a medical/surgical/oncology unit, telemetry and pediatric units and as an adjunct clinical instructor and a nursing advisor. Additionally, Phillips practices as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Silver City Health Center, through KU HealthPartners, Inc., and practices as a staff nurse at Liberty Hospital.

Phillips’ scholarship and research includes an original research project, “Undergraduate Student Experiences Using SHINE,” which examined students’ experiences learning to use an electronic health record. Phillips also is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and Alpha Delta Pi Sorority.  Phillips is currently a student in the KU School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
