Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

 

Curriculum Design

The post-baccalaureate DNP program requires:

  • 17-20 credit hours of common core courses;
  • 6 credit hours of capstone project; and
  • 46-54 credit hours of advanced practice or leadership core courses and specialty/practica courses.

Total program credit hours required vary from 72-77, according to specialization.

The post-master's DNP program requires:

  • 14 credit hours of common core courses;
  • 6 credits of capstone project; and
  • 12-13 credits of specialty courses.

Total program hours required for the post-master's DNP program is 32-33 credit hours.
