The Clinical Research Management specialization is designed to prepare the clinical research professional with competencies and skills related to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and research related to conducting clinical trials, institutional Review Boards and Regulations, and Ethical issues. Additionally the clinical research professional will develop skills related to research on organizational behavior, quality measurement and risk management, fiscal operations, systemic change and project program case management.
Specialized skills in communication and organizational politics and program development, implementation, and impact analysis will be acquired. Graduates will be prepared for entry to mid-level clinical management positions, with potential for promotion to executive level positions in a variety of research settings. This specialization requires 74 semester credit hours. All required courses are offered online.
