RAD 976 Radiology (4).
An elective in radiology will consist of four weeks, time to be spent in the hospital of the student's choice. Most of the time spent by the student during the elective will be in diagnostic radiology but if the student so desires time may be spent in radiation therapy as well as nuclear medicine. The student will be expected to attend all the radiology conferences as well as the other appropriate conferences at which the radiology department contributes. Prerequisite: Medical Basic Sciences.
RAD 995 Special Topics in Radiology (4).
This elective is designed to provide clinical experience in topics of special interest not otherwise represented in the curriculum. The student will design, in consultation with department faculty, specific objectives, reading assignments, and the mechanism for course evaluation. Prerequisite: Basic Science and Department Consent.
