EDTA 0.5 M Stock Solution (EDTA = ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid)

Na2 EDTA 2 H2O 0.5 M 93.05 g
H2O 400 mL

Stir vigorously on magnetic stirrer. Adjust pH to 8.0 with ~10 g NaOH pellets. Adjust voluume to 500 mL with H2O. Sterile filter.
