NucTrap^® Purification Push Columns

NucTrap purification push columns can be used to purify radiolabeled DNA- and RNA-probes ranging in size between 17 bp and 50,000 bp.

Supplies & Equipment:

• NucTrap^® Probe Purification Push Columns Kit (Stratagene #400701) containing:
  • 25 NucTrap push columns
  • 10 Syringes

Reagents:

• 1 x STE
• Elution buffer (dH₂O, or 10 mM Tris, or TE-Buffer)

Procedure:

1. Prewet column (pipet 70 µl 1 x STE on top of column, push through with air using syringe)
2. Load sample (within 5 - 10 minutes after prewetting), push through slowly as before
3. Wash (pipet 70 µl 1 x STE on top of column, push through as before)
4. Elute with 70 µl dH₂O, or 10 mM Tris, or TE-Buffer 

Time Required:

ca. 10 minutes
