BioanalyzerThe Microarray Facility provides centralized access for investigators to incorporate gene expression and genomic mapping technology in their research strategies. The Microarray Facility features the Affymetrix GeneChip® system. The GeneChip®system is composed of an Affymetrix GeneChip® Scanner 3000 7G with autoloader, Affymetrix GeneChip® Fluidics Station 450 and GeneChip® Hybridization Oven 640. The GeneChip® system is controlled by Affymetrix GeneChip® Operating System (GCOS) software. BioanalyzerDual Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzers are utilized by the Microarray Facility in support of the GeneChip® system. The Bioanalyzer allows for the rapid quantitation and qualitation of nucleic acid samples submitted for GeneChip® array analysis. It also serves to review controls taken during the target preparation prior to committing to the hybridization of the GeneChips®.
