Brain Discovery Fair is free and open to the public. There are no age
restrictions; whether you're young or just young at heart, there's
sure to be something for you! We will have two exciting neuroscience
lectures: one at 11:45am and another at 1:00pm. Additionally, we will
have lab tours & a histology workshop scheduled every 30 minutes
beginning at 11:30am. Students that complete a series of questions
from each booth will be entered into a drawing that occurs every
45min for a chance to win cool brain models! All other booths and
workshops are go-at-your-own pace and include:
- Real human brains!
- Visual illusions
- Sensory illusions
- Muscle spindle reflexes
- Cerebellar reflexes
- Light & fluorescent microscopy
