The Transatlantic Health Science Consortium was developed to facilitate international exchange of students and faculty at the participating Universities. As we become a truly global society, healthcare professionals must be able to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultures and healthcare systems. As our nation's borders become less distinct it is imperative that our students and faculty understand, both theoretically and experientially, multiple models of delivery systems and the issues these systems must address.
