of the Transatlantic Health Science Consortium

The consensus
of the members was for our graduates to function as "transnational
practitioners' they would need additional coursework in comparative
health care systems including the political and economic issues
surrounding health care practice. This unique course will
be delivered by distance learning via the World-Wide-Web.
This will then allow the course to serve not just as a resource
base for biomedical sciences/clinical laboratory sciences,
but also as the context for any future development of the
other allied health fields for this Consortium.
Since the initial meeting the Consortium members have met
