Non-Degree Masters Coursework

The Department of Dietetics & Nutrition welcomes non-degree-seeking students. You bring a wealth of diverse experiences to discussions.

Registered Dietitians and other health professionals frequently take one or two courses for:
  • Didactic work for board certification exams
  • Professional Development Portfolio (1 graduate credit = 15 CEU)
  • Personal edification

Advantage to using graduate credits from KUMC as Continuing Education Units:
  • The cost per CEU is competitive. No airline ticket or lodging costs.
  • You gain competence not just CEU.
  • Benefits of an academic medical center
  • Courses in nutrition from “bench to bedside to behavior”
  • Courses that reflect the trends in the marketplace
  • Some courses offered as web-enhanced or at Edwards Campus in the evening
  • A non-degree seeking student can become degree-seeking and count 6 credits toward the MS degree.
