Job Description:

We are looking for an Echocardiography Technician (Echo Tech) for our rural, not-for-profit acute care hospital in Southwest Kansas. We're looking for an Echo Tech who is ARDMS or CCI certified (Adult Echocardiography required), and CPR and ACLS certified. Echo Tech must be able to work independently; one-two years of experience is preferred in this position. Salary is competitive and negotiable - based upon experience. The schedule for the Echo Tech is Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM. Benefits include: paid time off; extended illness bank; bereavement leave; and negotiable relocation cost coverage. After 90 days of employment the Echo Tech position is eligible for Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance; dental; vision; and life insurances. KPERS retirement will be available at this same time! This is a 108-bed hospital with: 24-hour emergency room; cardiopulmonary; diagnostic imaging; physical therapy In /Out; laboratory; nutritional counseling; OBGYN; pharmacy in-patient; physical therapy; surgical services; skilled nursing unit; sleep disorders lab; visiting physician clinic; and much more. Community Description:
This vibrant community is a major trade center for Southwest Kansas and a five-state area. With a population of over 21,000, we continue to grow yet maintain a small home town feeling. Major players in the local economy are agribusiness, healthcare, and oil. We have a variety of religious affiliations and numerous community events throughout the year. A downtown revitalization project has been completed in the core area of town, and we continue to revitalize the town through 1% sales tax programs. Shopping malls are located in both the south and north ends of town with a wide variety of businesses in between. There is room for growth within our community that cares and grows with you.
