Job Description:
KRC.1116.1928.07 Our medical center is looking for a CRNA needed for rural acute care hospital. We are a not-for-profit acute care hospital. Through the years we have become a regional medical center serving patients from a five-state region of Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico. Our patient geographic area serves 90,000+. As the hospital evolves in a changing industry, one of our continuing goals is to provide "Quality Healthcare Close to Home.” This means recruiting and retaining highly skilled physicians, investing in state-of-the-art medical technology, and providing compassionate patient service. Facility and Community Information: • Located in Southwest Kansas • The facility is licensed for 101 beds and has 5 OR rooms. • 1 Full time Anesthesiologist, 2 Full time CRNAs, and 1 Anesthesia Technician currently on staff. • CRNA will not be a hospital or group employee, but will work for the local anesthesia consultants. The practice is recruiting a CRNA due to growth. • Our community is about 21,000+ people. We serve the populations in the surrounding areas drawing patients from Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico. • Applicant will need to have a Kansas state license. Position Information: • Call schedule is in 1:4. Call and duties are shared equally between the group members. • Mentorship is provided to build confidence and develop skills if needed. New graduates and experienced CRNAs are encouraged to apply • Full time (income ranging between 180,000 and 240,000) • 4 weeks off per year: 1 week CME and 3 weeks of vacation • Sign on bonus available (One year commitment required) We pride ourselves on cultivating a culture and environment that "cares about the same things that you do." This vibrant community is a major trade center for Southwest Kansas and a five-state area. With a population of over 21,000, we continue to grow yet maintain a small home town feeling. Major players in the local economy are agribusiness, healthcare, and oil. We have a variety of religious affiliations and numerous community events throughout the year. A downtown revitalization project has been completed in the core area of town, and we continue to revitalize the town through 1% sales tax programs. Shopping malls are located in both the south and north ends of town with a wide variety of businesses in between. There is room for growth within our community that cares and grows with you.
