KRC.0312.1405.13 Endocrinologist needed to join a fulltime practice in a community that is excited to welcome an endocrinologist! Local physicians would like to be able to provide their patients with endocrinology care in their own community and would like to have co-management help. The hospital needs assistance with IP diabetes protocols. There is currently a diabetes educator on staff. The hospital is involved in some diabetes grant work that is enhancing chronic care and self management strategies. Wound care center is also available on site. The hospital will provide the clinic and staffing. Hospitalists are available. Position schedule is M-F with 10 days a month of call time. With 105 beds, the community hospital services include pediatrics, OB, general surgery, medical, ICU, inpatient rehabilitation, gero-psychiatry unit, and emergency department. Full-time Hospitalists available to all medical staff and there is full-time physician coverage in the emergency department.
