AARP Receives Full Approval with Annual USDA Inspection

On August 8, 2006, an inspector from the United States Department of Agriculture conducted the University of Kansas Medical Center’s annual, unannounced, inspection of the animal care facilities.  NO non-compliant items were identified.   The inspector was very complimentary of the overall condition of the facilities, the care of the animals and the commitment of the faculty, staff and the institution to the animal research program.
