Accreditation

The KUMC Human Research Protection Program has announced plans to apply for accreditation during 2006, from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). AAHRPP evaluates human research programs in five areas: organizational structure, operations of the IRB, conduct by investigators, relations with research sponsors and outreach to participants.
