AARP Receives Approval and Renewal of its Animal Welfare Assurance

The University of Kansas Medical Center Animal Research Protection Program received full approval and renewal of its Animal Welfare Assurance on June 28, 2006. This Assurance is issued by the Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare of the Public Health Service and is required for PHS funded research.
