Continuing Review

The IRSC periodically reviews recombinant DNA research conducted at KUMC to ensure compliance with the NIH Guidelines.

The IRSC works in conjunction with the Human Subjects Committee, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and Environmnent, Health and Safety Office to ensure ongoing monitoring of research that can pose a significant risk to KUMC personnel and/or the community at large.
