  The Award
The Harold N. Godwin Leadership Legacy Award recognizes the outstanding leadership and contributions to the profession of pharmacy by alumni and friends of the University of Kansas residency training programs.  The KU Medical Center and University of Kansas School of Pharmacy offer three ASHP-accredited residency programs and one additional program that is seeking accreditation, the Practice Management/Masters Residency, the Drug Information Specialty Residency, the Pharmacy Practice (seeking accreditation), and the Community Pharmacy Residency programs.

The Harold N. Godwin  Leadership Legacy Award is presented annually at a luncheon held in conjunction with the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and open to current and past residents by invitation.  The honoree is invited to the KU campuses in the spring for a leadership lecture to current residents and students.  This event is open to all alumni and friends of the School of Pharmacy and KU Residency Programs.

The Legacy
The Harold N. Godwin Legacy encompasses those residents trained at the KU Medical Center those residents trainded by KU residents.  Current KU Legacy Residency Programs include those programs offered at Stanford Hospital, United Hospital, Fairview - University Medical Center and the Drug Information program at Oregon Health Sciences University Hospital.
