SARA J. WHITE
Sara J. White, MS, FASHP, graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.  Following graduation, she worked two years in Portland, Oregon (University of Oregon Medical Center and Emanuel Hospital) and spent the summer traveling Europe.  Sara then completed her MS degree at The Ohio State University and an ASHP accredited Residency at The Ohio State University Hospitals and Clinics. 

She was at the University of Kansas Medical Medical Center and School of Pharmacy for twenty years as the Associate Director, Director of Clinical Education and Professor.  Sara was the Director of Pharmacy at the Stanford Hospital and Clinics and Clinical Professor-UCSF for eleven years before taking an early retirement package.  Sara recently was an ASHP Foundation Scholar in Residence on Pharmacy Leadership.  She is currently semi-retired and does professional speaking and consulting as a Pharmacy Leadership Consultant.  Sara is in her second term as corporate Board Member for Omnicell©

Sara has served as president of the Greater Kansas City Society of Hospital Pharmacists, Kansas Society of Hospital Pharmacists and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.  She has been ASHP Chair, House of Delgates, Board Member and Council Member.  Her contributions have been recongnized by awards which include the Kansas Hospital Pharmacist of Year, Kansas Pharmacist of Year, Harold N. Godwin Lecture Lecture Award, Clifton J. Latiolais Award, John A. Webb Lecture Award, Ohio State Jack L. Beal Post Baccalaureate Award and ASHP Distinguished Leadership Award. 

During her career in addition to developing, implementing and leading comprehensive, computerized clinical and distributive pharmacy services, Sara has worked with over ninety pharmacy residents and taught numerous pharmacy students.
