The Program Coordinator will help foster personal, academic, and career development in students, by providing a wide range of counseling, consultation, and educational services. The Counseling and Student Development Center provides comprehensive psychological services and student development program to meet the mental health and developmental needs of students and others in the campus community. Essential duties include:
- Provides counseling services to university students
- Manages the day to day operations of counseling services for the first year students
Develops, coordinates, and implements the new student orientation program for incoming students (held on multiple dates in the Winter and Summer)
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the efficacy of the new student orientation program, its impact on student retention, and areas for development
- Coordinates, plans, and implements a retention program


Minimum Qualifications
Masterís degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work



Desired Qualifications
Licensed in D.C. as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, or Professional Counselor
