HUGHP Behavioral Health Services
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide diagnostic and psychiatric assessments and out-patient pharmacology for HUGHP patients (individual, group, family and couple’s therapy, children, and crisis intervention). Experienced professional with background in reducing barriers to mental health care in multicultural environment to provide assessment and clinical care for a diverse population of HUGHP members and their dependents. Facilitates the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, consultation and referral of patients for appropriate care. Provide problem-specific, solution focused care. Reports to the Director of the Chief of Medicine/Chief Medical Officer. Position will participate in RVU compensation.
Board Certified in Adult and Child Psychiatry M.D. and licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
Minimum of 2 years of experience and authoritative knowledge of clinical principles and practices. Demonstrated commitment to high quality, cost-effective health care and research in a large multidisciplinary prepaid group practice. Experience working in an RVU model.
