Essential functions are to provide direct clinical services to students: individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and career counseling. Provide outreach and prevention services to the UTEP community. Provide consultation to faculty and staff regarding student concerns and participate in campus committee work. Complete administrative and clinical paperwork. Internal administrative and clinical meetings and participate in program development. Complete other duties as assigned.
Marginal/Incidental functions Other related functions as assigned.
M.A. degree in Counseling or Clinical Social Work. Texas licensed or licensed eligible at the time of hire as either a License Clinical Social Worker, or as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Must be available to share after-hour call duties and have experience with young adult to adult population.
Preferred qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish. Experience working with college students or college aged people.
