Staff Clinician (Veteran Student Services Coordinator)

We are seeking licensed or license-eligible mental health professionals with strong clinical skills and who have experience with and interest in working with college-aged populations. In particular, we are seeking candidates with knowledge, skills, experience, and interest in working with veterans and military-affiliated students. Specifically, we are seeking applicants with experience providing clinical services to veteran and military-affiliated individuals, as well as experience providing outreach, consultation, and psychoeducation to these populations. Master’s degree, or higher, in a mental health discipline (psychology, social work or counseling) plus two years of relevant experience. Must be licensed (or license eligible) in Washington, D.C.
License in appropriate area of mental health, including either license to practice in the District of Columbia or ability to obtain license for the District of Columbia
Two years of applied clinical experience in counseling.
Demonstrated competence in clinical and crisis intervention skills.
Previous experience in a University counseling center.
Interest in providing campus outreach, especially to veteran and military-affiliated students.
