Counseling and Psychologal Services
Under the direction of the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services, the clinician hired for this position is responsible to provide the following services for University students: mental health intake evaluations; triage evaluations; individual, couples, family and group mental health psychotherapy; treatment planning; crisis intervention; referral services; psychological testing evaluations (if psychologist) and, as designated by the director, supervision of staff and/or graduate trainees. It is expected that the clinician has familiarity and demonstrated experience and competence in several empirically – supported treatment approaches and modalities. This clinician works with university staff and Student Life staff across the following areas: the Academic Success Center, Student Health Center (SHC), Residential Learning and University Housing (RLUH), Community Standards and Commuter Services, EOF/MAP, Campus Recreation and Student Center, and community agencies to assist or lead the development and delivery of relevant programs, presentations, and events. The clinician may be responsible for services to both the Glassboro and Camden Campuses. The clinician provides services that adhere to all rules and regulations and policies and procedures that relate to provision and documentation of clinical services.

Must be available to provide 24/7 on-call crisis intervention service when scheduled. Must be available to work evenings and weekends when scheduled.
Ph.D./Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology or a Masters Degree in Social Work with three to five years clinical experience in a mental health outpatient setting is required. Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey is required.
Prefer experience working in a college counseling center environment performing intake evaluations; individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy; and supervision of other professionals and/or trainees. Two or more years experience post NJ State licensure is also strongly preferred.
