RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct individual, couple, and group counseling sessions.
Provide consultation services regarding mental health for students, faculty, and staff. Develop and implement education and prevention programs around issues of mental health and well-being in order to create campus-wide awareness. Develop and maintain associations with local mental health providers and establish referral contacts for students. Represent the division of Student Engagement and Retention on campus wide committees. Serve on day-time emergency on-call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Masterís Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field. Current license from the Texas State Board of Examiners in the mental health services field such as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). If you possess an equivalent license from another state, you must have the ability to obtain a license from the Texas State Board of Examiners. Two years personal counseling experience. Demonstrated knowledge of theory, practice, and ethics within the counseling profession. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work corroboratively across campus units.
