We’re a small, private college located in suburban Philadelphia. We are in the process of becoming a university with three undergraduate schools: the School of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the School of Life and Physical Sciences, and the School of Business and Humanities. In addition, we are building a division of graduate studies and entrepreneurial activities. Fundamental to our strategic plan is the thoughtful positioning of the college in the higher education marketplace. These changes derive new relevance in the context of today’s significant global challenges relating to the natural world and how humans interact with it. DelVal is poised to become an important educator of students who are prepared to productively contribute to the health of the living world.
The campus is situated on 571 park-like acres, the majority of which are used as living laboratories. The main region of campus sits on a 50-acre campus-wide registered arboretum, with the remaining property dedicated to wetlands, woodlands and production agriculture.
