Drexel University Counseling Center (DUCC) has an opening for a licensed psychologist to provide direct psychological services to undergraduate and graduate students on the Center City and University City campuses of Drexel University. DUCC operates two sites, the largest of which is on the University City Campus. Our second site, located on our Center City campus, is easily accessible via our university shuttle service. The successful candidate must possess a PhD or PsyD in psychology; and have experience providing supervision for pre-doctoral interns. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, or be eligible for a temporary license while the state completes is licensing process.
A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. PA Licensed or license eligible within probationary period. If not licensed in PA, proof of passing EPPP exam. Two years of post-degree experience providing personal counseling, crisis intervention, assessment and consultation to late adolescent/early adult population or undergraduate and graduate students in a college or university setting (internship acceptable) preferred. Supervisory experience required. Multicultural sensitivity and an understanding of the needs of non-traditional students a must. Excellent counseling, crisis intervention and communication skills required; must have good organizational and computer skills.
