Position Description
The Counseling and Testing Center at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Senior Director I to join their team.

The Director has the responsibility for: (a) administering and managing overall operations of Counseling and Testing Services; (b) serving as Chief Testing Administrator and overseeing testing operations, including national and computer based testing as well as psychological and career testing; (c) working collaboratively with the Counseling Service professional staff to formulate, organize, and administer policy for all phases of operation including delivery of counseling, outreach and consultation services, training, supervision, staff and program development; and (d) short and long-term planning, evaluation, and budgetary functions of Counseling & Testing Services. The Counseling and Testing Service (CTS) is a comprehensive center with responsibility for personal and career counseling, training of doctoral and masters practicum students (from psychology and education), and psychological and career testing. CTS is also a national Computer Based Testing Program site for the GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL and administers other national tests such as SAT, ACT, MCAT, CLEP, TASP, and GED.

The Director reports administratively to the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs.

Work hours:Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some evening, weekend, or on-call hours may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
Earned doctorate in counseling psychology, minimum of five years post-doctorate experience in a university counseling center, with at least 3 years of administrative experience. Licensed or eligible to be licensed as psychologist in Texas.

Desired Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:

Denton is conveniently located at the top of a triangle with Dallas and Fort Worth being the east and west corners of the triangle base. Interstate 35 (I-35) leads into Denton from the north and splits to become I-35 West heading into Fort Worth and I-35 East heading into Dallas. Texas Highway 377 and US Highway 380 both intersect I-35 in Denton.
