The Towson University Counseling Center seeks a full-time generalist psychologist to serve as the Anxiety and Depression Services Coordinator. The Coordinator will provide psychological services to the Towson University students and develop a comprehensive and multi-faceted program, using innovative approaches to address anxiety and depression on campus.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be responsible for development, coordination, administration, and evaluation of an anxiety and depression treatment and prevention program at the Counseling Center, including clinical, outreach, and training activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaborating with on and off campus departments to develop outreach programs for the campus, updating policies and procedures, training staff and interns/externs, providing individual and group therapy to students, and serving on University committees where appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications
Requirements: To be considered, applicants must have a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology, experience in a university counseling center (or equivalent setting), and licensure or license-eligibility as a psychologist in Maryland. Extended hours may be required for outreach, campus events, or emergency situations. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate understanding of and commitment to diversity issues, program development and evaluation, and who possess excellent communication skills. Persons with a strong interest and experience in working with marginalized populations are especially encouraged to apply. Knowledge or interest in the area of technology-based interventions (Apps, social media, web-based psycho education) is a plus. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
