Counseling & Student Development Center (CSDC), a department within the division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, at Northern Illinois University invites applications for the position of Associate Director. This is a full-time 12-month position with full university benefits.
Responsibilities include: providing designated administrative support to the CSDC Executive Director and assisting with the general operations of the department; coordinating clinical services provided by the department; providing clinical and outreach services within the scope of CSDC operations.
Doctorate in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; five years of experience providing services in a university counseling center; experience providing supervision to psychology trainees and doctoral interns; licensed or eligible for Illinois licensure as a psychologist; demonstrated commitment to diversity; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
NIU is located in DeKalb, IL. It has an enrollment of roughly 24,000 students, including a graduate student body of over 6,400.
