Position Description
Reporting to the Director of Student Counseling Services, the counselor will oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of a multicultural counseling component of the Student Counseling Service, in addition to providing liaison services to the college community. Duties include consultative, clinical, crisis and outreach services. S/he will be a critical member of the college student counseling team.

The Counseling Coordinator will: perform mental health evaluations, treatment and consultation as required, under supervision of the director; report and discuss results with team and requesting clinicians; participate in on-call rotation for emergency and crisis situations that pertain to students and campus life; ensure that documentation and productivity meet the standards set by the department; provide outreach and prevention efforts to the college community; provide clinical and professional training/supervision to masters/doctoral level trainees and staff; adhere to ethical codes of conduct appropriate to professional bodies such as APA.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Psychology or related field required(doctorate preferred). License to clinically practice required with a minimum of one year of clinical experience, especially with a college student population, and two years of experience/competence in multicultural counseling. High integrity needed to handle confidential information
