Provides individual, couples, and group counseling services in a time-limited service delivery model; provides emergency and/or after-hours and on-call services as assigned; provides outreach programming to the campus community; acts as liaison with the university departments; provides consultation services to faculty, staff, and university departments; trains and supervises pre-doctoral interns, postdoctoral residents, practicum students and/or paraprofessional trainees; participates in agency program evaluation and research; performs additional professional services based on individual skill and interests consistent with agency need; engages in professional development activities to maintain licensure/certification; provides clinical supervision of counseling staff; assists management team in agency projects; serves on or chairs committees within and outside of the agency as assigned by director; performs administrative tasks as assigned; monitors compliance with department policies and procedures.
DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. Occasional after hours and weekend work required.
Masters degree in Clinical, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work; and 5 years experience providing psychological counseling to college students; licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Arizona; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Experience: providing substance abuse assessment and interventions; contributing to provision of consultation services to university housing organizations, academic departments and other university stakeholders; with crisis response intervention; serving diverse student population. Evidence of being multilingual.
