Position Description
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is seeking a Staff Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary University Counseling Center team. This position will report to the Counseling Center Director and work closely with staff from University Health Services, Career Services, Residential Life, Student Affairs and staff and faculty from across the campus. The incumbent will provide individual and group counseling services to UMBC students and outreach, consultation, and training to students, faculty and staff. Specific duties include: providing training to the Psychology Doctoral interns and practicum students; intake assessment; short term individual counseling; group counseling; crisis intervention; making referrals to outside campus providers; life planning counseling; providing outreach and developmental programs to UMBC students; providing outreach, consultation, and training to students, faculty and staff; and performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
The position requires a doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and experience in a university/college counseling center. Maryland Psychologist License or license eligible required.

Desired Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with 3 years post licensure experience. Experience and interest in multicultural counseling, work with men, LGBT students, alcohol and other drug services strongly desired. Demonstrated interest and knowledge in training and supervision or clinical service coordination preferred.
