Position Description
The University of Central Oklahoma Counseling Center is offering a postdoctoral fellowship in counseling psychology with an emphasis in substance abuse assessment, treatment, and prevention, and an optional focus on short-term psycho-dynamic psychotherapy through consultations or weekly supervision with on site practicing psychoanalysts or psychologists with behavioral leanings. This position is split between traditional counseling center tasks and coordinating our substance abuse prevention and treatment service under the supervision of the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention program director.

Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in counseling/clinical psychology from an APA approved institution and excellent letters of recommendation from program director, internship training director, and a previous clinical supervisor.

Desired Qualifications
A curious demeanor, openness to experience, a good work ethic, supervised clinical experience working with people abusing drugs or alcohol, in-patient supervised clinical experience, experiencing providing supervision to mental health service providers in training.
