WELLNESS CENTER DIRECTOR
Green Mountain College (VT), an innovative liberal arts college with an environmental focus is seeking to fill the position of Wellness Center Director. Established in 1834, Green Mountain College offers 24 undergraduate majors and three graduate programs (MS – Environmental Studies, MBA in Sustainable Business and MS – Sustainable Food Systems).
The Director of the Wellness Center has both an administrative and clinical role on campus. S/he is responsible for providing counseling services and programs including individual and group counseling, peer education, staff training, psychological assessment and referral, crisis intervention and programs related to student development and wellness to the campus community. S/he oversees all operating activities of the Center, including wellness initiative programming, budget planning and the non-clinical supervision of the staff.
Qualifications of the ideal candidate will include a Masters Degree in counseling psychology, social work or related mental health field and at least 5-years counseling experience, preferably with the traditional college age population. Must have or be able to obtain Vermont license. Holistic wellness experience preferred.
