Position Description
The successful candidate will bring generalist clinical skills and experience along with expertise in psychological assessment. This staff member will provide generalist therapy to the student population. This person will conduct psychological assessments for Purdue University Calumet students referred for learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD or developmental disorders and clinical psychological testing. Report writing, interpreting test results, providing feedback to students and treatment recommendations are part of this position. This person is responsible for forwarding reports and letters to designated individuals or agencies while adhering to confidentiality laws. This staff member will provide crisis intervention management and mental status evaluations. This staff member also provides supervision to therapists in training, as needed, along with providing therapy to students. This person attends pertinent staff meetings, and will participate in collaborative clinical team meetings, as well as professional development activities. This staff member assists in outreach and consultation, administrative tasks and related activities.

Minimum Qualifications
• Ph.D./Psy.D. from an APA accredited University or Professional School of Psychology
• Must be currently licensed as a Psychologist (HSPP status/eligibility) or immediate license eligibility in Indiana

• Completed degree and licensure status accounts for years of professional work experience
• General therapy experience working with young adults, with special areas of emphasis in psychological testing for LD/ADHD and developmental disorders
• Must have the ability to perform clinical evaluation and assessment, intervention and treatment planning with young adults, with special areas of emphasis in psychological testing for LD/ADHD and developmental disorders
• Must have ability to provide clinical supervision of testing and assessment for doctoral practicum students
• Must have ability to provide culturally sensitive diagnostic assessment, treatment and intervention for psychological, social, or other difficulties that interfere with students’ academic success, including; LD/ADHD and learning disabilities, mood and anxiety disorders, and other psychologically related concerns
• Must have ability to perform statistics on testing results; working knowledge in the areas of cognitive and personality assessment and psychometrics; ability to follow testing protocols
• Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software; ability to use a database
