Elizabethtown College is seeking an experienced individual to fill the role of Mental Health Counselor. The incumbent will support the mental health of students through individual counseling, group counseling, outreach education, after-hours on-call coverage, and consultation. This is a full-time, 10-month position.
Candidates must have a master’s degree in a mental health field plus a minimum of three years of related experience, preferably providing time-limited services within a college mental health setting. Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required; licensed as a psychologist in the Commonwealth of PA preferred (must be licensed within one year of hire).
An individual with strong generalist skills is sought to provide a wide range of clinical services including individual and group counseling, consultation, and crisis assessment/response. The position includes weekend and weekday on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis. In addition, case management responsibilities and coordination with off-campus mental health providers when appropriate.
