Counseling & Testing Center
This full time 12 month position reports to the Director of the Counseling & Testing Center. This is a leadership position with the Center and the person in this position will serve as Center administrator in the absence of the Direector. Duties include coordination of Center clinical services, provision of mental health services, clinical supervision, and outreach to the campus community. EEO/AA employer.
Minimum Education: Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited program. Licensed or license eligible within 6 months of hire as a psychologist in the State of Kansas.
-Demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity
-Mimimum of 3 years demonstrated leadership experience in a mental health facility or agency
-Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in the provision of mental health services for a wide range of presenting concerns.
-Minimum of 3 years experience providing clinical supervision.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
-Demonstrated strength as a presenter and provider of outreach programming.
-Strong written verbal communication
-Strong verbal communication skills
-Completion of an APA accredited internship
-Experience working as a clinician in a college or university counseling center
-Experience managing a budget in a mental health facility, center or agency
-Experience working with electronic medical records
