University Counseling Center
Duquesne University Counseling Center invites applications for one full-time, 12 month postdoctoral psychology resident position starting August 1, 2013 (or as soon after that date as possible).
The University Counseling Center postdoctoral residency offers a training experience focused on clinical practice with college students in a private, Catholic university. Clinical duties mainly consist of individual and group psychotherapy. Residents are a part of the rotating on-call system to help provide after-hours crisis services. The residency may also offer opportunities for outreach and consultation, program development, and supervision of a predoctoral student. Residents will occasionally be required to provide programs and/or attend University functions outside of regular business hours.
Ph.D./Psy.D. from APA accredited Clinical or Counseling Psychology program. Completion of APA accredited predoctoral internship. All requirements for doctorate must be completed prior to start date.
University Counseling Center experience strongly preferred. On-call crisis experience and group therapy experience desirable.
