The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a full-time psychologist at the Student Counseling Center with a primary focus on personal counseling. Primary duties include intake and assessment, individual and relationship counseling, crisis intervention, after-hours crisis coverage, campus outreach and consultation, training, and supervision of trainees. The Counseling Center is involved in training both practicum counselors from local universities as well as doctoral interns as part of an APA approved psychology internship program.
Funding depends on final state approval.
A doctorate in counseling or clinical psychology with a Texas psychologist license or ability to attain licensure within one year. Applicant should demonstrate skills in training, supervision, multicultural competence with the ability to work with a diverse student group as part of a multidisciplinary team.
