Position Description
CCPPS is seeking to hire a generalist staff psychologist with clinical and research emphases. Duties and responsibilities include:

•Providing multiculturally sensitive individual and group therapy within a brief treatment model

•Conducting intakes/triages

•Crisis management, including occasional after-hours crisis phone coverage

•Providing outreach/consultation to the university community

•Providing training and supervision within an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship training program

•Collecting, analyzing, and reporting clinical utilization and outcome data and assisting with the coordination and implementation of the Center’s research goals

•Developing and coordinating learning outcome and survey data including the center’s participation in the Center for the Study of Collegiate Mental Health.

Minimum Qualifications
•Doctoral degree in Counseling/Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program, and completion of an APA-accredited internship

•Demonstrated commitment to the highest ethical standards of professional practice, multicultural competence, and personal and professional integrity

•Knowledge, skills, and expertise required to conduct consultation, outreach, crisis interventions, psychotherapy, and training

•Experience in a college counseling center or a multidisciplinary outpatient mental health center/setting

•Currently licensed or license-eligible within 6 months in the state of West Virginia

•Experience with organizational and statistical software programs managing utilization review and clinical outcome data.

WELLWVU includes CCPPS, Student Health, and Wellness and Health Promotion. Working collaboratively, WELLWVU provides integrated healthcare to WVU students. CCPPS is a multidisciplinary agency where psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, and a psychiatric nurse work cooperatively to provide students with the highest level of care.
