Position Description
Serve as the Director of Counseling and Disability Services; provide direct counseling and disability support services to students. This is both a leadership position and a clinical/direct service position. The majority of the time allocated to this position will be for vision and leadership in the role of Director of Counseling and Disability Services including supervision of staff and office management. Some time is allocated for direct counseling services to students, grant writing and implementation, and outreach services for the University community.

Minimum Qualifications
Masterís degree in Counseling, Social Work or another mental health related field/5 years of full-time related work experience/significant clinical, supervisory and administrative experience/must be eligible for licensure within 6 months of appointment in the state of Alabama/ demonstrated knowledge of development and psychological issues of college-aged students/excellent presentation skills and comfort with technology is expected

Desired Qualifications
Ph.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology preferred/3 years of work experience in a college or university counseling center desired/Experience with Titanium scheduler/familiarity with writing and preparing grants desired
