Position Description
The Accommodation Team Manager leads a team of 3-6 professional staff and interns in determining reasonable accommodations for university students with disabilities to ensure access to the physical, educational, and social activities of the University of Wisconsin.

This manager assists faculty and staff in implementing fair and effective instructional methods and adaptations to provide equal access in the classroom. This position may also lead campus-wide training activities for students, faculty and staff on disability issues, rights and responsibilities under the law, and advocacy regarding reasonable accommodations in a post-secondary environment.

This position has a case load that requires significant competence in the populations of mental health, chronic health, and learning disorders.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Special Education or a related field. Ph.D. preferred.

- Four or more years of direct experience.

- Preference given to applicants who have worked with a college or young adult population.

- Preference given to licensed/license eligible candidates who can supervise pre-master’s interns from relevant educational programs. Credentials to supervise pre-master’s students seeking Certified Rehabilitation Counselor certification are a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and CRC certification.
