Staff Psychologist/ Outreach and Group Coordinator

This posting is for a full-time staff psychologist/outreach & group coordinator position. The staff psychologist is a member of the Counseling Services senior staff and provides direct counseling/psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and outreach/prevention services to DU students, faculty, and staff. This position also assists with the development and implementation of multicultural initiatives. This position oversees the group counseling and outreach programs for the center and provides ongoing training in group counseling and outreach for interns and practicum students. This position is responsible for oversight of the HCC counseling services website pages and works in collaboration with the Health Promotion department related to marketing, events and website/social media maintance. This position works within an integrated care model including primary care, mental health, gender violence support services, and health promotion in the Health and Counseling Center. The staff psychologist serves as primary individual supervisor for one psychology intern in an APA accredited internship position. This is a full-time, benefited, 40 hour per week position and reports to the Director of Counseling Services.
1. Licensed or license- eligible within three months in the State of Colorado as a psychologist.
2. Expertise in providing psychotherapy/counseling within a brief therapy model.
3. Experience with supervision, crisis intervention, outreach/prevention, groups.
4. Demonstrated commitment to the principles of Inclusive Excellence.

2. Two years experience in university/college counseling center.
