Counselor/Psychologist

The George Mason University, Counseling and Psychological Services seeks to fill a full-time Counselor or Psychologist position.

Responsibilities:
This position will provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, educational outreach programs, consultation with faculty and staff, and supervision of master’s and doctoral trainees. Applicants must have training and experience in working with a culturally diverse population of university students. Experience working with GLBTQ university population is highly desirable.

Qualifications:
Current license in the state of Virginia is highly desirable. Candidates who have completed a doctorate but are not yet licensed will also be considered. Licensure as a mental health provider in the commonwealth of Virginia is required within two years. Completion of a counseling center, APA-approved internship, and experience in the multiple functions of a comprehensive university counseling center are also desirable. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
